Successful Financial Services company in Blackpool have a vacancy for a Vulnerable Customer Team Leader.

The purpose of the role will be to co-ordinatate the work of the Vulnerable Customer Team and provide independent objective assurance to The Board that positive customer outcomes are achieved across The Group in line with the Vulnerable Customer Policies and procedures.

To provide support and guidance across the Group to ensure compliance with the regulatory framework the business operates within.

The key accountabilities:

Review the ongoing Vulnerable Customer accounts, whether in arrears or not and ensure all customers are being dealt with in line with TCF and the Vulnerable Customer Policy.

Complete outcome testing on conduct risk activities to demonstrate that the right outcomes have been achieved for the customer.

Provide assurance to ARC that our Vulnerable Customers are being provided the correct treatment and information to prevent any undue pressure or further detriment.

Identifying trends and gaps in policies, procedures, strategies and systems

Escalation of Risks to Risk Manager.

Co-ordination updates to the team and SMT.

Deliver produce & maintain effective management information that meets the operational needs of key stakeholders

Engage proactively with business stakeholders to influence timely and effective remedial action in response to compliance monitoring activity.

Complete testing to a high standard

Review external auditors report and incorporate relevant findings

Keep up to date with FCA guidance and trade association updates.

Take responsibility for personal and Team Training & Development.

Have an understanding of financial services regulation i.e. Vulnerable Customers, Safeguarding, Treating Customers Fairly.

Contributes to a Positive & Safe Working Environment for self and colleagues.

Ensure you are up to date with any communication and changes within the company

Lead culturally and embed good governance throughout the business.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role, ideally from a Financial Service background.
