Due to expansion, my clients are now looking for an experienced and talented Telesales Manager in proactive sales to join their team of professionals in their Preston Office.

This role would suit a charismatic Telesales Manager who has a strong background in sales and have proven experience of having managed a successful outbound telesales team. You will lead a team utilising outbound marketing tactics to generate great qualified appointments and opportunities for our sales force.

As this is a player / manager role, we'd expect you to be a successful telesales person yourself, be able to lead by example and produce high personal results whilst driving performance from the team. You will be responsible for training, coaching and development of new and existing team members to ensure that are able to develop relationships and sell to a variety of industry sectors, generating strong leads for our dedicated team of field sales representatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Genuine, high quality communication skills
Monitoring outbound B2B telephone calls to potential customers to ensure new business opportunities are maximised.
The ability to demand respect from and inspire trust within the team
Act as a role model in relation to new sales techniques and strategies
Continually seek to improve working practices and processes
Motivating and driving the team to exceed target.
Maintaining an atmosphere of positivity, high levels of motivation and energy amongst the telesales team
Recruiting, growing and keeping great telesales people.
Liaising with marketing to utilise internet and social media to generate leads.
Adapting management style and approach to work flexibly with individuals within the team to ensure each person gives their best.
Collecting and analysing sales and performance data and delivering improvement
Disciplined use of CRM system.

To be considered for this role it is essential you have the following:

A proven track record within outbound sales in a Telesales environment

Experience of successfully leading a successful telesales team.

Natural leadership qualities, ability to lead by example

An inspiring, positive and motivational management style that maintains a high-performance atmosphere.

The ability to positively coach, mentor and train telesales staff to deliver their best.

The ability to set and maintain focus on challenging sales targets.

Excellent people skills, strong relationship builder

A good knowledge and experience of using IT systems.
