My client is seeking a Business Generation Manager to join them and lead, support and develop a team of office-based Business Generation Executives in qualifying prospects and organising meetings with business and commercial clients for the field-based Business Development Managers.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful Business Generation Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of a Telesales team of up to 10 people including the recruitment of new staff, providing ongoing training & sales coaching and energising the team to achieve high levels of motivation to ensure delivery of sales targets.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Developing and managing a set of KPI's for the department

Preparing monthly reports for the senior management team

Creating and managing campaigns to promote the company and generate warm leads

Creating an environment to succeed and recognise performance through fun and engaging incentives and activities

Ensuring the team verify and enrich the data on our CRM

Quality control of appointments to ensure they meet the required standard

Playing an active role in ensuring targets and KPI's are achieved, by developing a personal portfolio of high value customers

Highlighting opportunities for business development and research

Working with a data partner to identify target and populate lists of target clients

Providing inspiring leadership across the Business generation team

Effective 1-2-1s

Coaching & mentoring for individuals across the team

Interacting with other managers and members of the delivery team to help identify customer acquisition targets

Working closely with the Business Development team to ensure meetings are booked to their requirements and support is provided by your team throughout the sales process

To be successful in this position the Business Generation Manager must demonstrate:

A solid background in selling successfully to businesses

Evidence of leading and managing a high performing team that delivers and exceeds targets

Strong Leadership skills, the ability to "show" as well as "tell"

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to inspire your team to develop a supportive and competitive culture

Self-Motivated & Ambitious

Ability to work effectively under pressure
