They are looking for someone to join our award-winning IT support company as a Sales Order Administrator.

Reporting to our Financial Controller, the right person will be smart, flexible, have great inter-personal and communication skills, along with excellent attention to detail. They are looking for a hard-working, caring people-person who isn't scared of rolling their sleeves up and mucking in; the right person will be customer-driven who is happy to "talk first, email second" - so how you come across over the phone is massively important.

You'll need to have extensive experience of dealing with customers, suppliers and other team members in a professional, fast-paced environment. Your administration, organisational and team player skills need to be of an excellent standard, as does your experience in using Word, Excel and CRM systems.

The main duties will include, but not limited to:

processing enquiries and sales orders for customers/prospects by phone, email, web and customer portals;

liaison with Technical Account Managers, Sales Director, Financial Controller and Technical Support Manager to ensure latest information is fed through the system constantly to keep all customers and team members updated;

creation and maintaining of standard product lists, ensuring all information required is kept up to date, including costings;

use of our CRM system for all sales order processing tasks;

consistently meeting customer requirements to specified timescales;

monitoring and maintaining stock levels for standard products;

processing of purchase orders;

expediting purchase orders with suppliers;

assist in the covering of our Reception function; picking up incoming calls and welcoming visitors;

managing courier bookings, and booking in deliveries to the office;

other general office duties.

This is a full-time permanent position; our office hours are 9am -5.30pm Mon-Fri. In return for a competitive salary they offer 25-days holiday (plus Bank Hols), Pension, Life Cover, free parking and a smoke/vape-free fully modernised office environment.
