Due to impressive growth in the last 12 months, our client is seeking a new Subsidiary Management Accountant that will take ownership of the month end reporting for 4 divisions within the group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and Group Management Accountant, the role will suit an ambitious individual seeking an opportunity offering real prospects for further career enhancement over the next few years, with a clear progression plan within the business that has a strategic vision to achieve annual sales in excess of £100m.

This role will focus on:

The Management Accounts production for 4 businesses within the group with a combined annual turnover of £15m
Production of P+L and Balance Sheet for review
Provide senior Operational Management with clear and concise management information
Preparation of monthly journals, accruals and prepayments
Fixed asset register maintenance
Preparation of supplier payment schedules
VAT returns
Provide support during year end processes
Manage ad hoc projects with the Group Management Accountant

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

The ability to travel occasionally to one of their newly acquired businesses based in South Yorkshire
Part qualified ACCA, CIMA accountant
The ambition and drive to develop their career within a fast moving organisation
Strong communication skills and be able and willing to communicate effectively across all levels within the organisation
Intermediate Excel Skills

Desirable:

Sage 50 / Sage Live experience
Experience in a fast growing SME environment
