We are looking for a Service Administrator with the drive and enthusiasm to help in pushing forward the Service Department of our client, a leading North West motor dealership.

Working as part of a small but busy and friendly team, the successful Service Administrator will be responsible for maximising service department profitability through the use of professional sales techniques, maximising customer awareness of all available workshop services and working effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities of the Service Administrator include:

First contact for the customer as they enter the dealership

Explaining the repair process and then book the customers vehicle in

Effective product sales as well as making customer bookings

Communicating with the workshop technicians and customers to ascertain the level of work required and gain authorisation

Making the customers experience as enjoyable as possible, whilst providing the very highest level of customer service

Raising job cards and providing customer estimates, according to company policy on schedules and pricing.

Calculating charges for all parts, labour and service repairs, ensuring the accuracy of charging structure.

Meeting all deadlines as set by Line Manager and company procedures.

Adhering to all Health & Safety, environmental and Company policies and procedures

Ensuring accurate documentation for warranty work in line with requirements and dealership policy

Ensuring jobs in progress are monitored, and reporting problems to Line Manager
