Due to growth, my clients, based in Blackburn are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Administrator to provide a first-class customer orientated telephone service to all customers. To work as part of the Sales team processing customer enquiries, orders and deliveries on SAP effectively. To provide a full range of administrative and clerical support to the team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The post-holder must at all times carry out his/her duties with due regard to the Sales Process and Customer service guidance and any other guidance issued by the senior team.

2. The post holder will ensure they are always aware of all products and procedures and that they process customer's enquiries professionally with speed and accuracy.

3. The post-holder will deal courteously with all customers, face to face, via the telephone and in writing and at such other customer service points as may be directed when conducting customer surveys, meetings or representing the company at events..

4. The post-holder will be responsible for inputting and updating the SAP System and will be required to process orders on a daily basis.

5. The post holder will ensure smooth operation of the telephone systems, answering and dealing with all enquiries.

6. Undertake a full range of administrative tasks in running the office, ensuring all documents such as customer return forms, delivery notes, invoices, and statements are processed and filed in accordance with the requirements of the Company.

7. The post-holder will keep abreast of organisational changes within the company in order to provide up to date information for all customers.

8. The post holder will liaise with the warehouse and carriers with regards to the despatch of orders and ensure information is available to customers regarding any changes to orders, delivery or services.

9. The post-holder will take responsibility for his working area ensuring it is clean and well presented at all times.

10. The post holder will support team members to ensure workload is shared.

11. To ensure the SAP Customer database is up to date at all times with the all the required contact details.

12. The post-holder will operate professionally both as an individual and as a team member for the benefit of the customer at all times, regularly contributing ideas, suggestions and feedback to team leaders thus providing a valuable contribution to the effectiveness and continued success of the service.

13. To undertake any duties as directed by the line manager.

14. The post-holder will take a flexible approach to changing patterns of work and undertake such other duties as are consistent with the job purpose and grade of post.
