My client is an established designer and manufacturer of specialist products for the engineering and installation sector. Based in Southport, they have a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sales Administrator to join them as soon as possible.

Providing support to a small sales team and company clients, the successful Sales Administrator will be responsible for:

Ensuring all customer enquiries are addressed on a timely basis, and appropriate details are recorded

Establishing a clear understanding of customer requirements related to product type and application, quantity required, required delivery date, delivery method and location

Checking the MRP system to determine if customer requirements are able to be supplied from stock, and liaising with the production department to confirm availability, and to establish lead times

Preparing quotation for customer including price, quantity, delivery date / method and details of additional costs where appropriate, and providing production with copy

Liaising with customer to resolve any queries, and entering details into CRM system

Reviewing marketing information and conducting sales calls with new and /or existing customers

Reviewing all customer call off/scheduled orders to ensure orders are completed in agreed time frames

The successful Sales Administrator must demonstrate:

The ability to prioritises and organise their work effectively, making effective use of time according to urgency and importance

Experience of working to related procedures, including processing associated documents efficiently

Excellent communication, both oral and written

Initiative, and the ability to look for solutions

Working well under pressure whilst maintaining focus

Pride in performance, produces quality work and shows good attention to detail

Hours of work are 9-5 Mon - Fri (39 pw), there is a flexi-time schme in operation so start time can be as early as 8am or as late as 6pm, depending on the candidates requirements.
