Clayton Nursing is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Regional Director of Care for our clients supported living services based in Lancashire.

On successful appointment you will receive a generous salary of £60,000 - £65,000 with an additional extensive benefits package reflective of the role.

The role of Regional Director of Care will be to take overall and ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day care and operational management of the services within the Lancashire region. With particular responsibility given with regards to the promotion and realisation of the organisations vision, ethos, corporate strategy and business plan across all area of the business.

The Regional Director of Care carries out the following formal functions:
-Deployment and accountability for the use of resources made available in accordance with national strategy and policy.
-Ensuring that care quality, compliance and monitoring systems are effective to meet needs.
-Ensuring that strategic objectives which have been identified are delivered.
-Formulating draft policy proposals for consideration and approval by the Chief Executive and consideration by the Senior Management Team.

Applicants are required to have
-Achieved NVQ L5 Health & Social Care/ Registered Managers Award (or equivalent) ¿ essential
-Relevant Degree (Management/Social Care) ¿ Desirable
-Excellent leadership, project management, communication, staff support and development and IT skills
-Knowledge of a range of relevant funding streams and effective budget management and an in depth knowledge of current issues in health, social care and the voluntary sector
