Our client is a well established company on the outskirts of the city centre, and they are seeking a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small finance team for a minimum of 6 months.

Working between 8am - 5pm, Monday and Tuesday, with an additional day to be agreed, the position will see the successful Purchase Ledger Clerk have responsibility for the full end to end process within the Purchase Ledger function including:

Processing and posting invoices ensuring approval is in place

Processing manual credits

Matching delivery notes to invoices

Processing payments, direct debits and expenses via BACS


Make supplier payments

Managing supplier enquiries

Previous experience within a similar Purchase ledger role is essential.

You will also ideally have experience of Sage 50 and be proficient in using Microsoft Excel. It is important you have great interpersonal skills and clear communication skills, be willing to work as part of a team and be comfortable in supporting colleagues with their work if required.
