I'm delighted to be working with a British company who are proud to manufacture and sell their product range to a national and worldwide client base.

They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join them as soon as possible in order to set the product and communications strategy for their brands within the UK and EU. Working closely with their sales team, the new Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the communications strategy of the segment, using appropriate channels, to influence the key decision makers in the industry to understand and engage with the value propositions of our brand.

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies, value propositions and plans to communicate the features and benefits of new products to customers. They will also be responsible for delivering a range of product focused marketing campaigns and sales enablement material, which ensures the business meets its customer retention and prospect acquisition goals. This may include online campaigns, design/print & production, presentations, and the development of various marketing collateral.

Main Responsibilities:

* Creating marketing and social media materials that communicate product features

* Developing the marketing tools and campaigns to target the key market decision makers

* Build on product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point

* Communicate the vision and value of new products to the market and develop sales and marketing tools that facilitate the selling process

* Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different departments

* To manage the effective delivery of marketing campaigns and provide marketing strategies to the CEO/General Manager

* Translate complex and technical information into simple, concise and high impact messages

* Take part in presentations

* Obtain insights into customers' usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data

* Create content such as case studies, videos, website copy, blog posts and copy for public relations

* Research competitor offerings

* Developing and maintaining the product roadmap

* Detailed research and analysis of brand / product competitors with an aim to maintain the company's trusted premium status, improve best practice and boost sales

* Coordinate the production of event and exhibition collateral

* Deliver marketing literature, including brochures, leaflets, and award entries

* Measure and report on marketing campaign effectiveness

The ideal Product Marketing Manager will have 3-5 years' experience in B2B marketing and project management, be able to demonstrate digital marketing knowledge and ideally be able to demonstrate substantial experience in building brand plans & product marketing within the construction sector.

With a strategic approach and a high level of commercial & business acumen, the Product Marketing Manager will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to network and establish productive business relationships cross-functionally, inside, across and outside of the organisation.

Although not essential, definite plus points will be an undergraduate degree in marketing or business studies, as well as previous experience and/or good understanding of construction products, knowledge of relevant building regulations & standards, building insulation & passive fire protection.
