Mortgage Operations Team Manager required to manage the Mortgage Operations Team to ensure the Mortgage Department provide an efficient and professional Mortgage Processing and Servicing to the Society's members, customers and intermediaries.

Based in Chorley you will be responsible for...

Line management of Mortgage Processing and Servicing Team.

Identify improvements to enhance Mortgage Processing and Servicing processes.

Maintain the Mortgage Processing and Servicing Process Manuals.

Implement all mortgage related policies and procedures.

Comply with all legal responsibilities and codes of conduct to which the Society must comply with i.e. AML, MCOB, Mortgage Code, BSA and FCA etc.

Provide training to staff to ensure a thorough understanding of the Society's practices and procedures as they relate to mortgage business.

Manage mortgage product tranches to ensure limits are not exceeded.

Undertake MI reporting on behalf of the mortgage department as required.

Build successful working relationships with external partners.

Manage a large pipeline of cases through to completion.

Ensure departmental SLA's are achieved.

Deliver the external Society values as part of all interactions with customers.

Attend training courses and undertake examinations as appropriate for this Job Description and as an employee of the Society to ensure job and personal skills are maintained to the satisfactory standard as required by the Society.

Carry our other duties which are consistent with the nature responsibilities and expectations of the position.

Experience and Technical Skills:

Experience of managing an operational and/or processing team.

People Management experience (desired).

5 GCSE at Grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent.

Ce-MAP (desirable).

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Experience of Microsoft packages including word & excel.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Ability to independently manage multiple tasks

Strong attention to detail
