My client is an established, but still growing and ambitious organisation, and they have a new opportunity for an experienced Marketeer to join them and to help drive the day to day marketing activity and planning process, ensuring that the brand and brand message is well positioned within its specialist market.

As this is a newly created post, this is a great opportunity for a driven Marketing Executive to make an impact, and to help grow the brand in the market.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive will include:

Increase brand awareness via main social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

Provide the sales function with a suite of company wide sales collateral and maintain the content with regular review and updates.

Develop a 12-month rolling marketing plan from the main strategic marketing plan and demonstrate delivery outcomes through completion of monthly reports.

Manage brand and marketing partner relationships to ensure a value-based service with tangible return on investment.

Source advertising opportunities and schedule when and how to make the most of the chosen routes to market.

Network the market and attend events such as conferences, breakfast meetings and exhibitions.

Implement campaigns to communicate with the target audience and develop customer relationships.

Source the opportunity to nominate the company for awards or recognition.

Maintain and update the in-house CRM system.

Provide creative content such as short proposition videos and blog postings.

Keep a watching brief and report on competitor activity.

Work closely with key partners to maximise the brand publicity available through connections with the local business community.

Manage and lead the relationship with appointed brand, strategic marketing and digital marketing partners.

Liaise closely with the IT department to ensure customer facing communication channels reflect the brand and marketing activity.

Engage all areas of the business to capture marketing requirements.

Support the Head of Sales & Marketing Manager.

Work with the Managing Director and Board to deliver the overall business goals through the marketing plan.

The successful Marketing Executive will demonstrate:

Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Commercial awareness and the ability to measure performance outcomes against budget.

Content writing and design skills in order to produce customer facing materials in both print and digital formats.

Good analytical skills to measure campaign and ROI performance.

Strategic thinking.

A positive and tenacious attitude.

Good IT Skills (Illustrator, Graphic Design applications, Word, PowerPoint) and strong social media awareness.

Creativity and an eye for detail.

Experience of working with B2B customers in the mid-market and corporate markets.

A degree preferably in a related subject, e.g. - marketing, business, communication, IT, advertising, media or graphic design.
