Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking to join a well established Heating Company based in Preston?

If so we would love to hear from you.

As an experienced Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for:
Planned maintenance service routines, fault finding and corrective activities on a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including foundry process, CNC machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant etc.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you should possess the following attributes or work experience:
A time served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
Be qualified to ONC level or equivalent in a relevant electrical discipline.
Have a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship relevant electrical experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment.
Demonstrate the ability to read and follow electrical circuit drawings to aid troubleshooting, repair, service or installation activities.

In addition to the above you will:
Be compliant with 17th edition wiring regs
Be flexible with working hours as the role will be based on a 37 hour week with regular overtime cover on double day shifts rotating on a weekly basis (typically 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Hold a IPAF license to drive MEWP¿s i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential).
Have proven working experience of most types of ac/dc motor drives/control systems.
Have a proven working knowledge and experience of low voltage electrical equipment i.e. up to 415V
Demonstrate knowledge and experience of PLC's and/or CNC based automated control systems and machinery.
Be capable of working unsupervised when required either alone or as part of the team.
Be Flexible in your approach to all aspects of maintenance with an appreciation of mechanical systems to enable basic mechanical repair assistance
Have a current driving license.
