My client is now in a position to recruit for an exciting new position within their Group.

After a merger between 4 very different companies, that are focused on growth and long term sustainability, so the new Group Head of Marketing will ensure that the marketing and branding is consistent across all customer touch points, both online and the more traditional offline routes.

The Group businesses consist of eCommerce brands, an eCommerce fulfilment business, a Repair and Warranty business and a Distribution and Wholesale business.

Joining as soon as possible, and reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Group Head of Marketing will have no direct reports, although this may change as the businesses evolve.

Th position involves a variety of tasks, including planning digital marketing campaigns, delivering the strategic vision and ultimately improving brand awareness and revenue.

Responsibilities of the Group Head of Marketing will include:

  • Set specific marketing goals based on the company's long-term targets
  • Performance Marketing - lead, develop and implement paid marketing strategies that contribute to growth
  • Implement marketing strategies for both traditional channels and digital channels
  • Develop online and offline campaigns to increase traffic (and conversions) to the websites
  • Analyse sales and marketing metrics, reporting results into senior stakeholders
  • Forecast market trends
  • Complete regular market research to identify new trends and opportunities
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote the brand and products
  • Address advertising needs
  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels, companies and the websites
  • Use customer feedback to suggest improvements and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with internal teams and ensure brand consistency across the business
  • Establish a strong, long-term online and offline brand presence

Th ideal Group Head of Marketing will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing strategist or Marketing Manager
  • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools, social media, marketing and eCommerce platforms)
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics / AdWords & Paid Social Media
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team management skills
  • Ability to review processes and identify improvements
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret multiple sources of complex data to draw conclusions, identify trends and anomalies, and derive recommendations.
