Our client is a highly regarded financial organisation. They are seeking an experienced Project Finance Support Officer to assist them until the end of 2017. Working as part of the Finance Department, and reporting to the Projects Finance Manager, the successful candidate will initially join the Project Team on a 3 month FTC.

The position will involve reviewing, reporting, and tracking all project financials from change requests from the bank, including end to end tracking of funding/invoicing from/to the bank by individual project/change initiative. Additional reporting of P&Ls for significant projects and report / forecast income for the year covering all projects for the company.

Main responsibilities of the position will involve:

Representing finance at weekly business change meetings reviewing change requests from the bank from a finance perspective
Tracking change requests end to end from initial funding request to invoicing and receipt of cash
Production of a weekly finance report for the Finance Manager to review status of funding for all change initiatives
Supporting the Finance manager to review and understand change requests and the impacts on the company from a headcount and cost perspective and support the engagement with the relevant areas of the bank for funding requests
Producing P&L contributions from significant projects
Producing a project income/contribution tracker and forecast income for the year from change initiatives
Deputising for the Finance Manager in any periods of absence

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

Solid analytical / financial experience
Sound reporting skills
Good relationship building skills
The ability to work independently and also collaboratively with a team
Sound communication and interpersonal skills
Strong PowerPoint and excel skills
