Our client is recognised as a supplier of some of the finest equipment in the world for specialist professionals. Due to the range and quality of their product range, and the service they give, they have built a large customer base around the world.

They are now recruiting for an ambitious Finance Administrator to join their team. Supporting the Finance Manager the successful Finance Administrator will assist with providing operational management with information required for the successful running of the department.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

Support the financial accountant with management of cash forecasting to aid with critical business decisions.
Cash book, including extracting daily bank statements and daily bank reconciliation.
Cash posting and allocation of sales, purchase and nominal ledger entries and management of the cashbook on a daily basis.
Reconciliation and management of the petty cash.
Update filing systems for digitalised and paper documents and backup in an efficient manner.
Assist in delivering the annual audit & statutory reporting requirements.
Balance sheet reconciliation.
Support the purchase ledger team as required.
Phone cover during busy periods.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects.

The successful Finance Administrator will demonstrate:

Outlook Email, MS Excel / Word / Sage accounting package experience!
Demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection within the business.
Demonstrate good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi task and manage work to a high standard and strict deadlines.
A good understanding of accounting knowledge (A qualification in AAT or book keeping is preferable).
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to liaise with people at all levels within the business.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business and its customers.
