Our client is seeking an experienced Estate Planner to assist customers with the estate planning options open to them, utilising Wills, Trusts & LPAs, based on their individual circumstances and legacy objectives.

The experienced Estate Planner will have previous Estate planning and / or will-writing background, with the ability to take a customer from fact find to instruction (not necessarily draft Wills).

Responsibilities and duties of the position will include:

Converting the customer to a sale and then record their wishes, collecting all the information required for drafting their documents

Offer and cross-sell relevant ancillary products as services, such as:

* Professional executor, trustee or attorney (LPA)

* Will updates & re-writes

* Document storage

* Funeral plans

Make outbound calls to referrals and leads from various sources including:

* Equity Release Advisers (loan can fund estate planning services)

* Lead generation team (from data generated outbound calls)

Answer incoming calls from direct response marketing campaigns and website / on-line activity

Convert outbound and inbound calls either immediately or via a call-back to an Appointment to conduct a Fact Find on their individual circumstances and discuss the importance of LPAs

Make a Recommendation on the Will or Will & Trust most suitable to their needs

Update the CRM to register the status and outcome of each stage of the customer journey

The successful Estate Planner will demonstrate:

Estate planning and / or will-writing background

Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver challenging sales targets

Proven consultative telephone or face-to-face sales experience

Proven track record in sales and lead conversion

Estate planning qualification is desirable but not essential

Strong understanding of exceptional customer service and consumer engagement techniques and ability to demonstrate application of knowledge

Proven ability to communicate with senior key stakeholders both internally and externally

Exceptional interpersonal and accuracy skills

Proven ability to deal calmly and professionally with challenging situations

Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills

Acts with credibility and integrity
