We are seeking a Business Support Administrator who will assist with providing daily support operations within the company, completing a range of administrative duties in different departments, and ensuring all support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively in order to allow the other operations to function properly.

Responsibilities of the Business Support Administrator include:

Monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks in order to support the business with ongoing IT requirements and changes.

Assisting in the onboarding process for new hires

Working closely with other members of the Business Support team to ensure maximum efficiency

Working with employees to identify computer issues and seek a resolution

Logging and keeping records of employee queries

Analysing issue logs to spot common trends and underlying problems

Creating and Updating self-help documents/processes

Testing and fixing faulty equipment

Maintaining installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance

Identifying, log and resolve technical problems with software vendors, applications or network systems

Identifying potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation

Ensuring that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines

Creating, maintaining, and distributing reports of progress to senior leadership

Explaining and documenting technical issues in a clear way to the business

Managing contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers

Providing admin support as and when required to support consultants and other departments

Other duties as required by the MD and/or Business Manager

Essential experience includes:

Experience of working in a similar role

A good knowledge of IT packages

Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing

Analytical and problem-solving skills



Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture

Commercial awareness

Delivering excellent customer service

Organisation, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload


Ability to work in a fast paced results driven environment

Ability to complete projects

Process driven
