Our client is a successful and expanding tech services company with offices near the docks in Preston.

Due to internal promotion they are seeking a Business and Accounts Administrator to join their existing team in order to provide effective business support and accounts assistance which in turn will help maintain accurate records and enhance customer service delivery.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager & Managing Director, the main responsibilities of the role will include:

* Maintaining the customer contract records for monthly and annual services, including updating direct debit payments and liaising with customers

* Preparing and checking sales invoices

* Pricing and quoting for managed services renewals and liaising with customers

* Checking and inputting purchase ledger invoices

* Assisting in the ordering process of equipment and services

* Answering calls and raising support tickets as required

* Assisting the Leadership Team in any other tasks as considered appropriate to the role

The successful Business & Accounts Administrator must be able to demonstrate:

* Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages including experience of Sage 50

* IT and numerical skills

* A good standard of education; ideally GCSE passes (or equiv) in Maths & English

* Ability to manage own time and workload and ability to work unsupervised

* Good teamwork skills

* Adaptability

* Strong attention to detail

* Good organisation and planning skills

* Commercial awareness

The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm (30 minutes break for lunch)
