Our client is a successful and established local business, and they are seeking an experienced part-time Book-keeper to join them with immediate effect.


Working 16 hours a week, ideally 10-2.30, Monday - Thursday (although there will be flexibility for an exceptional candidate) the Book-keeper will have responsibility for:

Credit Control

Preparing & processing sales invoices, receipts and payments

Dealing with the financial paperwork & filing

Managing and processing a bi-weekly payroll for 20 including processing starters, leavers, SMP etc

BACS payments

VAT returns

Assisting with the month end balance sheet

Assisting with profit / loss paperwork

General office administration duties as required

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

Previous related experience

Experience of Sage 50 and Sage payroll

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise

A high level of honesty and integrity
