Our client is a leading financial organisation with roots firmly paced in the Lancashire area. They are experiencing an exciting period of growth and as part of this they are seeking an Assessing Administrator to join their Business Administration department.

The Assessing Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications, ensuring that processes meet FCA, Funders and the Equity Release Council standards.

Main accountabilities of the position include:

Accurately carry out file assessments to the required standards

Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and feeding into the Senior Assessor for statistical reports

Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them

Building effective, supportive relationships with the Case Handlers, Customer Services and Underwriters in order to establish and maintain the appropriate standards

Checking and auditing new business

Ensuring that the operational teams within the company are compliant and in line with FCA working regulations

Assisting with the implementation of compliance regulations and help educate the business

The successful Assessing Administrator will have:

Previous experience of quality checking

Experience of working within a business area where accuracy and attention to detail are essential

Previous experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably from a regulatory perspective

Good understanding of FCA regulations and the impact of regulatory risk would be desirable.

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent punctuality and timekeeping

An excellent standard and accuracy of work

Analytical, decision making and problem solving skills, achieving best business practice

The ability to be proactive rather than reactive to ideas

Experience of prioritising and completing work to meet deadlines
