Our client an established Service Company is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their office in Blackburn.

Reporting to the Managing Director the role will include:
Receiving and processing invoices
Producing financial reports for senior managers
Matching and coding invoices
Resolving financial discrepancies
Reconciling monthly vendor statements
Identifying unpaid invoices
Processing staff expenses
Inputting invoices
Accounts payable
Analysis of monthly credit card statements
Sales, purchase and nominal ledgers
Bank reconciliations
Maintaining the general ledger

As this is a fast paced position, this would suit an experienced Accounts Assistant who has worked in a similar role.
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, display strong numeracy skills together with a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Excel and Double Entry Book Keeping.
You should also have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Please note this a temporary contract to cover maternity leave for a minimum of 9 months.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with accessible on-site parking

Salary is negotiable dependant upon experience.
