Our client is a well established and ambitious, family run firm based in Preston. They are a leading manufacturing company with a client base across the UK and Ireland. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team responsible for accounting and financial management of the company and its operations. Experienced user of Sage Line 50 Accounts is essential and payroll knowledge would be advantageous.

The role: Sales & Purchase Ledger
Credit Control
Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Monthly reconciliations
Create appropriate bookkeeping entries
Produce and present financial reports including cash flow forecasting
Prepare analysis of financial information for monitoring reports when required

Ensure appropriate back-ups of financial information are stored offsite
Develop financial mechanisms that minimise financial risk
Adhoc administration duties as required.

You must hold a full driving licence and an accounting qualification.
Knowledge of VAT, CIS and PAYE
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to challenge and resolve problems to conclusion
